Huawei is set to launch MatePad Pro 2026 for global market on September 2. Company will unveil tablet at its “Chase The Wind” event in Munich, Germany.
Huawei has already introduce MatePad Pro 2026 in China. Global launch may bring MatePad Pro 12-inch name in some market. Device is also expected to share many feature with MatePad Pro Max.
Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 May Launch as MatePad Pro 12-inch
Recent teaser confirm that Huawei MatePad Pro 12-inch will reach global market on September 2. Tablet may be global version of MatePad Pro 2026, which Huawei announce in China earlier this month.
Huawei may reveal more information about naming and market availability during launch event.
Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 Design and Display
MatePad Pro comes with an all-metal body and thin edge. Tablet measure 4.7mm in thickness and weigh 454 grams.
Huawei use a 12-inch flexible OLED PaperMatte display. Screen aim to reduce glare, reflection, and eye fatigue.
Chinese version feature a 12.2-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Huawei has not yet confirm whether global model will keep same display specification.

Chinese MatePad Pro 2026 use a Kirin T93 chipset with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
Tablet pack a 10,400mAh battery and support 66W charging. Camera setup include a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
Huawei has not confirm if global version will use same chipset, battery, camera, or storage option.

Huawei MatePad Pro also support a Glide Keyboard. Keyboard include a slot for stylus storage and charging.
Huawei also add AI-powered function for work and personal task. Company position tablet as a device for productivity and daily use.

MatePad Pro 2026 will join other Huawei device at global event. Expected product include Huawei Watch 6, Watch GT 7 series, Watch D3, Nova 16 Pro, and FreeBuds Neo.
