Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will have a 10,000mAh battery. Battery size is one of biggest features of new Redmi phone. A battery this large can help users spend more time using phone without charging.
Phone will also support 100W wired charging. Fast charging can help users charge large battery in less time.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Display
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. Display will offer a large screen for watching videos, playing games, and using apps.
Phone will also come with up to 12GB RAM.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 Chip
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip. Chip choice marks a change from recent Redmi Note Pro+ phones.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo used Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, while Redmi Note 14 Pro+ used Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Redmi Note 15 Pro+ also used Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 sits below those Snapdragon 7-series chips. Xiaomi may use this chip to control phone cost, but users may see lower performance compared with some older Redmi Note Pro+ models.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Camera
Phone will have a 50MP main rear camera with another rear camera sensor. Xiaomi has not yet shared full camera details.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Water and Drop Protection
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will offer IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection against dust and water. Xiaomi also says phone can handle a three-meter drop.
Rear panel will use photochromic technology. Xiaomi says Cloud Blush finish can change appearance when sunlight reaches phone.
