Apple Updates 40W Dynamic Power Adapter
Apple has released a new version of its 40W Dynamic Power Adapter for Europe and Vietnam. Adapter can deliver up to 60W when paired with compatible devices.
Main change comes from plug design. New adapter uses retractable two-prong plug. Prongs fold back into adapter body, which makes storage easier inside a bag or pocket.
Apple first released US version of 40W Dynamic Power Adapter in September 2025 alongside iPhone 17 models. A Type G plug version followed in November 2025.
New Europe and Vietnam version brings same adapter concept with a plug design made for easier carrying.
Apple Cuts Polishing Cloth Price
Apple has also released a new version of its Polishing Cloth. Biggest change so far is price.
In US, new Polishing Cloth now costs $9, down from $19 for previous version. That means Apple has cut price by $10, or about 53%.
Apple says cloth uses soft, nonabrasive material. Cloth can clean Apple displays, including displays with nano-texture coating.
Apple has not confirmed if new cloth has a different size or any other major design change. Current information points to lower price as main known change.
$10 Saving Gets Attention
Polishing Cloth has gained attention because Apple usually sells accessories at higher prices. A $10 price cut makes new version stand out even more, especially during a day when Apple also updates Mac hardware.
Apple has introduced Mac mini models with M6 and M5 Pro chips and Mac Studio models with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips. Some Mac prices have also increased.
