ASUS has expanded its ExpertBook lineup with new laptops for professionals and businesses. ExpertBook Ultra focuses on users who need high performance in a light design, while ExpertBook P3 G2 and B3 G2 target professional work and small business use.
New models bring Intel Core Series 3 processors, local AI support, business security, fast storage and memory options. ASUS also focuses on durability, battery use, video meetings and device protection across its ExpertBook range.
ASUS ExpertBook Ultra Targets Mobile Professionals
ASUS ExpertBook Ultra focuses on users who work from different locations. A thin body and low weight make this laptop easy to carry, while its processor and NPU support local AI work.
ExpertBook Ultra starts at 0.99 kg and has a 10.9 mm thin body. ASUS uses a magnesium-aluminium alloy body and says laptop meets US military-grade durability standards.
Design comes in Jet Fog and Morn Grey finishes. A full set of I/O ports allows users to connect current and older accessories. Backlit keyboard uses a UV excimer coating, while a haptic touchpad provides feedback during navigation.
3K OLED Display With 120 Hz Refresh Rate
ExpertBook Ultra has a 14-inch tandem OLED touchscreen with a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution. Screen supports a 30-120 Hz variable refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits HDR brightness.
An anti-glare matte surface helps users work in bright locations. OLED technology also supports deep black levels and HDR content.
Touch input gives users another way to control laptop, while display size keeps device suited to mobile work.
Intel Core Ultra X9 and Local AI Support
ASUS ExpertBook Ultra can come with up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processor and an NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS. NPU can handle AI work on device without requiring an online connection.
Memory reaches up to 64 GB LPDDR5x, while storage can reach up to 2 TB. Such hardware supports work across documents, spreadsheets, meetings and other applications.
ASUS ExpertCool Pro handles thermal control during long workloads. Cooling design aims to keep performance stable while reducing fan noise.
A 70 Wh battery supports work away from a power source, while USB-C supports fast charging.
ExpertBook Ultra Focuses on Meetings and Security
For video calls, ExpertBook Ultra includes an FHD + IR camera with Windows Hello face login. A six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos supports meetings and media use. Two microphone arrays support voice capture.
Connectivity includes triple-band Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
ASUS AI ExpertMeet adds AI functions for meetings. Features include meeting minutes and real-time translation, with processing performed on device.
Security comes from ASUS ExpertGuardian. Security features work at firmware level to help protect system integrity, detect malicious activity and support system recovery. A fingerprint reader is also built into power button.
ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 Comes in 14- and 16-Inch Versions
ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 targets professionals and comes in two sizes. P3406CMA offers a 14-inch screen, while P3606CMA uses a 16-inch screen.
Both models can use up to an Intel Core 7 Series 3 processor. ASUS has not yet provide specific processor model details.
Processor uses a 2+4 core setup and includes an NPU for local AI work. ASUS also focuses on power use for longer work sessions.
P3 G2 supports DDR5 memory and PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Two SO-DIMM slots support up to 64 GB DDR5-5600 RAM.
Storage setup includes an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot and a second M.2 2230 slot. ASUS offers up to 1 TB in second slot, while users can upgrade capacity to 2 TB.
Durable Design and Business Features
Both P3 G2 versions use a Misty Grey finish and meet MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Keyboard offers 1.5 mm key travel, while touchpad uses a larger design than previous generation.
P3 G2 supports multiple high-resolution external displays and includes shortcut keys for tasks such as video conferencing.
ASUS says new models support long battery use and fast charging, but battery capacity and official runtime for Intel configurations remain undisclosed.
ExpertBook B3 G2 Targets Small Businesses
ExpertBook B3 G2 targets small business users. Like P3 G2, B3 G2 comes in 14-inch and 16-inch versions.
B3406CMA is 14-inch model, while B3606CMA is 16-inch model. Both versions use Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors and Xe3-based integrated graphics.
B3 G2 includes an NPU with up to 17 TOPS for local AI work. RAM can reach up to 64 GB DDR5, while SSD capacity can reach up to 4 TB based on available configuration.
A 2.5K anti-glare display with a 144 Hz refresh rate supports smooth visuals. FHD IR camera supports video conferencing and Windows Hello functions.
Both B3 G2 models also use a 180-degree hinge, which allows screen to lay flat for content sharing during meetings.
ASUS ExpertGuardian Adds Protection
Security remains a main part of ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 and B3 G2. ASUS ExpertGuardian provides multiple security layers for business users.
Features include NIST-related security compliance, TPM 2.0 and five years of BIOS and driver updates. ASUS also includes firmware protection to help protect system integrity.
P3 G2 adds a nano Kensington lock slot and comes with a one-year McAfee+ Premium subscription.
