TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Sport Gets 42mm Case
Case size is one of biggest changes for new Carrera Chronograph Sport. Previous 2020 model use a 44mm stainless steel case. New version use a 42mm case.
Lug-to-lug measurement also decrease from 49.8mm to 48.6mm. Case thickness fall from 15.48mm to 14.17mm. Smaller measurements give watch a different fit on wrist while keeping Carrera case shape.
Case use brushed surfaces with polished sections. Carrera lugs remain part of design, while case sides receive a revised finish. Piston-style pushers sit on right side and use rings at base. Pushers also feature grooved top sections.
TAG Heuer add a steel cradle around tachymeter bezel with a ceramic insert. Tachymeter scale is engraved on ceramic section. Depending on color, ceramic insert come in black, blue or green.

New Carrera Chronograph Sport Dial Design
Dial receive one of biggest visual changes in new generation. Instead of traditional applied baton markers, TAG Heuer use Arabic minute numerals. Change give dial a gauge-style layout and connect watch design with motorsport.
Chronograph keep a tricompax layout. A 30-minute counter sit at 3 o’clock, 12-hour counter sit at 9 o’clock and running seconds sit at 6 o’clock.
