Dimensity 7500 Turbo Powers Vivo T5
Vivo T5 uses MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor built on a 4nm process. Chipset has an octa-core CPU, Krake GPU architecture and an 8th-generation NPU.
Vivo claims up to 233% faster on-device AI computing compared with its stated reference point. NPU can process around 10 tokens per second while running a 3-billion-parameter large language model.
Vivo T5 can reach an AnTuTu score above 1.2 million. This gives phone enough performance for gaming, multitasking, AI tasks, video playback and daily work.
Vivo also adds a vapor chamber cooling system with a 3,800mm² chamber and more than 23,000mm² total cooling area. Ten temperature sensors help monitor heat during long use and support stable performance.
Base model comes with 6GB RAM, while higher models offer up to 12GB RAM. Vivo also supports virtual RAM expansion for users who need more memory during multitasking.
144Hz 1.5K Curved AMOLED Display
Vivo T5 has a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. Panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, giving smoother scrolling and motion during gaming.
Display has 449 PPI pixel density and a 93.82% screen-to-body ratio. Vivo also lists DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10+ support.
Peak HBM brightness reaches 2,000 nits, which can help with screen visibility outdoors.
Vivo adds eye-care features, including Eye Protection Mode, Sleep Comfort Mode and Anti-Fatigue Brightness Adjustment. Display also carries SGS certifications for low blue light, low flicker and sunlight display performance.
For audio, Vivo T5 has dual stereo speakers with a symmetrical design. Vivo also uses its VEQ algorithm to improve bass output at lower volume levels.
7,050mAh Battery With 44W Charging
Battery capacity is one of main features of Vivo T5. Phone packs a 7,050mAh battery while keeping body thickness at 0.79cm and weight at 199g.
Vivo claims up to 14 days of standby time, 85 hours of music playback, 34.7 hours of local video playback, 16.9 hours of social media use and up to 7.9 hours of gaming on one charge.
Charging support reaches 44W. Vivo says a 30-minute charge can take battery from 1% to 44%, while 10 minutes can take charge from 1% to 17%.
Battery supports up to five years of battery health and up to 1,600 complete charge cycles under specified testing conditions.
Vivo also adds Battery Life Extender, which can help keep basic phone functions available when battery level becomes very low.
Global Bypass Charging can send power to system during supported use after battery reaches 20%. This can help reduce heat during gaming or other tasks while charging.
50MP Sony Main Camera With OIS
Vivo T5 has a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with 4-axis OIS. Optical image stabilization can reduce camera shake during photo and video capture.
An 8MP ultra-wide camera sits alongside main camera and offers a 115-degree field of view. Camera setup can capture landscapes, group photos and wider scenes.
For portraits, Vivo includes Multifocal Portrait with 1x, 1.5x and 2x options. Vivo also adds Bokeh Flare Portrait for background effects.
Front camera has 32MP resolution with an 84-degree field of view.
Vivo T5 supports 4K video recording from both front and rear cameras. OIS and EIS help stabilize video, while Sony Aura Light supports low-light photo and video capture.
AI Erase 2.0 is also available for removing unwanted objects from photos.
OriginOS 6 and AI Features
Vivo T5 runs OriginOS 6.0. Vivo promises three generations of Android upgrades and five years of security updates.
Phone includes AI Creation, AI Transcript Assist, AI Captions, Circle to Search 2.0 and Ultra HD Documents. These tools support tasks such as content creation, transcription, translation and document work.
Vivo DocMaster can handle document viewing, conversion, annotation and management across different formats.
Vivo Office Kit adds features for file sharing, screen mirroring, task handoff and note syncing between phone and computers.
Private Space provides a separate area for personal apps, photos and files. Shake & Share supports transfers of photos, Live Photos and videos between compatible devices.
IP68 and IP69 Protection
Vivo T5 comes with IP68 and IP69 protection. Phone can resist dust, water immersion, splashes, rain and high-pressure water jets under controlled conditions.
Wet-Hand Touch allows users to operate screen with wet fingers. One-Tap Water Ejection can help remove water from device.
Vivo also says T5 has gone through X9 durability testing and MIL-STD-810H testing. Tests cover conditions such as temperature changes, dust, rain, impact and transport falls.
Vivo T5 Design and Build
Vivo T5 measures 0.79cm in thickness and weighs 199g. Phone uses a 3D curved AMOLED panel with a narrow frame.
Camera module uses an aluminium design with horizontally arranged lenses. Rear panel uses Vivo’s Aurora Liquid Crystal Process.
Royal Bronze and Silver Green are available color options.
Design also makes Vivo T5 similar to some hardware seen in other phones from Vivo’s wider group, according to reporting in second source. However, main focus for Vivo T5 remains its display, processor, battery and software package.
Vivo T5 vs Other Phones
Vivo T5 enters a price range where phones compete on processor speed, display refresh rate, battery capacity and charging speed.
144Hz refresh rate gives Vivo T5 an advantage over many phones that use 120Hz panels. Difference between 120Hz and 144Hz is smaller than jump from 60Hz to 120Hz, but higher refresh rate can help during fast scrolling and gaming.
Dimensity 7500 Turbo also gives phone a focus on performance. AnTuTu score above 1.2 million places Vivo T5 in a higher performance range than many older budget and mid-range phones.
Battery capacity is another major point. A 7,050mAh battery can support long sessions of gaming, video playback and social media use.
Charging speed, however, is not as high as some competing phones that offer 67W, 100W or higher charging. Buyers who care more about charging time may find faster options in same price range.
Vivo T5: What Buyers Get
Vivo T5 combines several features that usually appear across different phones. Phone offers a 144Hz 1.5K curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, 7,050mAh battery, 44W charging, 50MP OIS camera and IP68/IP69 protection.
Software also gets long-term support with three Android upgrades and five years of security updates.
Starting price of INR 34,999 puts Vivo T5 in a competitive part of Indian smartphone market. Higher models reach INR 49,999, while launch offers can reduce effective prices.
For users who want display refresh rate, processor performance and battery capacity, Vivo T5 offers a balanced package. Users who want very fast charging or optical zoom may need to consider other phones.
Vivo T5 will go on sale in India from September 9, 2026, through Flipkart, Vivo India e-store and partner retail stores.
