ASUS Expands ROG Gaming Lineup With Spatha X 65K Mouse and 720Hz OLED Monitor

ASUS used Gamescom 2026 to expand its ROG gaming lineup with new hardware for MMO gaming, esports, and competitive PC gaming. Company introduced ROG Spatha X 65K gaming mouse and ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS ACE gaming monitor, bringing new sensor technology, hot-swappable switch support, 720Hz refresh rate, and OLED display technology.

ROG Spatha X 65K update builds on Spatha X wireless gaming mouse that ASUS first launch in 2021. New model adds Aimpoint Pro 65K sensor, ROG Push-Fit Switch Socket III, 12 programmable button, adjustable weight system, and tri-mode connection.

At same event, ASUS showed ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS ACE, a 24-inch class esports monitor with 720Hz refresh rate, 0.02ms response time, 1080p WOLED panel, and up to 1,700-nit peak brightness.

ASUS ROG Spatha X 65K Gets 65,000 DPI Sensor

ROG Spatha X 65K use Aimpoint Pro 65K sensor, which ASUS also use in ROG Gladius IV Ace. Sensor can reach up to 65,000 DPI and support adjustable lift-off distance.

High DPI can give player more control over cursor movement, while adjustable lift-off distance can help reduce unwanted cursor movement when a player lift mouse during gameplay.

Spatha X 65K also use ROG Push-Fit Switch Socket III. Design allow user to replace main mouse switch without replacing full mouse.

ASUS offer ROG Micro Switch II as standard option. Switch carry 100 million-click rating. ROG Silent Micro Switch option carry 50 million-click rating and focus on lower click sound.

12 Programmable Button Support

ROG Spatha X 65K target MMO player with 12 programmable button. Button setup can support macro, skill, command, and other in-game action.

Button setup can also help outside gaming. User can assign shortcut to editing task, spreadsheet work, or other PC workflow.

Mouse include adjustable weight support with five weight configuration. ASUS also include magnetic charging dock that can work as a receiver for 2.4GHz wireless connection. Dock can also work as a display stand.

Spatha X 65K support tri-mode connection and allow user to manage setting through browser-based ROG Gear Link tool. User does not need to install desktop software for setting access.

ASUS has not announce price for Spatha X 65K. Company says mouse will launch in US at end of September through ASUS eShop and Best Buy.

ROG Gladius IV Ace Targets Esports Player

ASUS also introduce ROG Gladius IV Ace as part of ROG Ace Collection. Mouse use an ergonomic shape based on testing with professional player.

ROG say design aim to reduce muscle strain during long gaming session. Testing focus on tracking and accuracy after fatigue, including fast 180-degree movement.

Gladius IV Ace weigh 56 gram before adding weight. User can add 3g, 5g, or 7g weight and create seven configuration.

ASUS also test left and right click force to keep difference within 5 gram. Design aim to provide similar click feel on both side.

For wireless connection, Gladius IV Ace use ROG SpeedNova 8K Gen II technology with a larger antenna. Active Dynamic Hopping help manage wireless interference.

Mouse can scan at up to 20,000 frame per second and support 8,000Hz polling rate. User can manage setting through browser-based ROG Gear Link.

ASUS Shows 720Hz OLED Gaming Monitor

Alongside new mouse hardware, ASUS show ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS ACE, a gaming monitor built for esports player.

Monitor support a 720Hz refresh rate, making screen refresh up to 720 time per second. High refresh rate can help show fast movement with less visible blur during competitive game.

Monitor also use 0.02ms response time. Fast pixel response can help reduce smear during quick movement and fast aim adjustment.

ASUS pair high refresh rate with a 1080p TrueBlack Glossy Tandem WOLED panel. Panel cover 99.5% of DCI-P3 color gamut and reach up to 1,700-nit peak brightness.

OLED technology also provide deep black level and high contrast. Combination of fast response and 720Hz refresh rate focus on player who need motion clarity during games such as Counter-Strike.

Position Sensor Helps With Monitor Setup

ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS ACE also include Position Sensor. System can provide information about monitor height, angle, and player distance from screen.

Feature can help esports player recreate a monitor setup at a tournament desk. Consistent screen position can help player keep a familiar viewing setup between home and competition.

For casual gamer, 720Hz refresh rate may offer more performance than needed. Competitive player who focus on motion clarity can benefit more from high refresh rate and 0.02ms response time.

ROG Adds Esports Partnerships

ASUS also announce new esports activity during Gamescom 2026. ROG add partnership with GamerLegion and content creator iiTzTimmy.

Company also launch ROG Ace Esports Instagram channel for tournament update, gaming gear, and player setup content.

ASUS Pushes ROG Toward Competitive Gaming

ASUS has not announce Spatha X 65K price yet, while ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS ACE carry a $1,099 price. ROG also offer ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG at $699 for player who want OLED display with a lower refresh rate and lower price.
